Serenity in the Moonlit Pines, hand painted canvas pendant with freshwater pearls
This is my favorite piece from the entire series. I painted this miniature canvas depicting a moonlit forest of pine illuminated by a full moon in the night sky. This necklace features a one of a kind, hand built brass setting for the painted canvas, with a frame of gold leafed polymer clay and accented with peacock grey freshwater pearls all around. The brass has been clear coated to protect finish. The necklace is made of beautiful textured 14k goldfilled chain with peacock freshwater pearls lovingly wire worked in near the pendant. My hope was to create a piece that looked as thought it could be an artifact discovered in a long forgotten place. The length is adjustable from 16-19” and closes with a 14k goldfilled clasp.
