Everlasting Spirit, hand painted canvas pendant with freshwater pearls and ocean jasper

I painted this miniature canvas depicting a white dove in flight. This necklace features a one of a kind, hand built brass setting for the painted canvas, with a frame of gold leafed polymer clay. The brass has been clear coated to protect finish.  The necklace is made of ocean jasper and white freshwater pearls lovingly wire worked together to form a chain. My hope was to create a piece that looked as thought it could be an artifact discovered in a long forgotten place. The length is 19” and closes with a large 14k goldfilled lobster claw clasp. The length can be adjusted shorter by clasping in anywhere along the chain.
