Owner/Designer
Erica Bapst
Erica Bapst
received her AAS in graphic Design from Finger Lakes Community
College and her BFA in Metalsmithing from Syracuse University
in 2001. She opened her boutique "Adorn" in 2004 in her hometown
of Canandaigua, NY where she lives with her husband and daughter.
"I
believe that wearing jewelry is all about self expression and
celebrating life. The intrinsic value runs deep with every piece
you wear. Whether it signifies a vow, connects you with the
past, or simply reflects the mood you are in, jewelry can go
beyond an accessory to an outfit. It takes confidence to wear
bold jewelry. I believe that a strong piece of jewelry can also
give you confidence. The accessories you choose to wear, say
an unusual necklace or an eye catching ring, will be noticed
and through that, people will begin to truly see you as well."
Erica works with a wide variety of materials including sterling
silver, 14k gold filled, copper, semiprecious stones, freshwater
pearls, Czech glass, Swarovski elements and more. She creates
about half the jewelry found in the boutique, the other half
being manufactured costume jewelry to fill any gaps in price
or style. Feel free to stop in and browse the ready-to-wear
jewelry or ask Erica to create a custom piece of jewelry, in
the no-pressure atmosphere.
